WELCOME TO 'THE SHIP YARD'
"" 'Shipping' initially derived from the word relationship, is the desire by fans for two or more people, either real-life people or fictional characters (in film, literature, television, etc.) to be in a romantic relationship."
Welcome to our new website dedicated to the television couples we love to "ship"; the the will-they-won't-they relationships, the Unresolved Sexual Tension,
the frustrating tropes that keep the pair apart, the happy and not so happy endings...
Predominantly, we will be looking at the shows that aired on mainstream terrestrial / network TV on both sides of the Atlantic in the 80s and 90s, but we will touch on much newer content and we will be requesting suggestions of shows and ships, as there will have been many we have missed.
